Like all things in life, trade is better if it is conducted through open relationships with good communication. Therefore, Fairtrade is all about partnerships and equity within the trading relationship.

Trumpers Tea is passionate about working within the Fairtrade system where ever possible and is pleased to enhance these relationships by personally selecting the producers with whom we work. We frequently travel to the beautiful and outstanding countries of origin and work with the producers to learn more about their communities and the families that are directly affected by the sale of this historical commodity.

Fairtrade is not merely a charity, more a helping hand – no one wants hand outs but communities would much prefer the support and training that Fairtrade provides to give them control over their own lives. 

In addition to this support, Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions and local sustainability. With fair prices and guaranteed markets, producers can invest in the future and embed both environmental and economic development into their businesses.

Please look out for the Fairtrade Mark on our products and be guaranteed that the product has been certified to give a better deal to the producers involved.
