Time for Trumpers Tea

I have been working in tea for a number of years (too many to confess on the website) and just love it!

Working for a large tea company for many years, I enjoyed learning the ropes from a buyer’s point of view - tasting and blending a whole range of wonderful teas but wanted to learn more about the commodity from a producer’s perspective. I therefore moved overseas and spent many fascinating years working with both tea and other agricultural crops to fully appreciate the impact of such cash crops on the local economy as well as to the big multi nationals back home. 

I have to confess that I am hooked on tea and feel passionately about ‘spreading the word’. I hope to increase YOUR enjoyment of this exciting and varied crop along the way!

Whilst I talk about ‘the team’ it is really my mad idea and I am Claire. I obviously have a fantastic surname ‘Trumper’ and when going into business felt very strongly that I had to own up to it and so Trumpers Tea was born! Whilst fully shouldering the blame for such a crazy venture ‘the team’ of willing helpers are my fabulous family and friends without whom this would never be possible! I hope you meet some of them when we visit a town near you!
